FAQ

Questions we get often

Is this advice legally binding?

No. We are not lawyers and give no legal opinion. You get an evidence-based indication from public market data, with source and reference date, so you can explain your choice internally and to candidates.

Where do the amounts come from?

From public sources we look up live for every check: salary and job platforms, occupational guides, the Dutch statistics office and the collective agreement you name yourself. For each source you see the job title used, the number of observations, the reference date and the link.

What if there is no good data?

Then your report says so. We do not fill a gap with a plausible figure. If a sample size is missing you read "not stated"; if a source is a broad title match, the table says so and it carries less weight.

Do I have to name a collective agreement?

No, but it sharpens the advice. If you do not know, leave it empty: we never guess a collective agreement from your job title. That would put a pay scale in your report that is not your organisation's.

How long does a check take?

About half a minute. Real searching happens in that time. Ask the same question within a month and you get the same answer back immediately.

Can I use the tool for a current employee?

Yes, through the candidate check. It compares a proposal with the market, with the person's experience and education, and with colleagues in the same role. Because personal data goes in, it works only with an account and a data processing agreement.

What happens to my data?

We keep your vacancy input anonymised to see which roles are asked about. If you request the PDF report, we keep your contact and company details to send you the report and to tell you about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time.
